The present dissertation aims to investigate the impact of an educational program based on raising attention and perception on achievement and motivation among students with learning disabilities at Hebron Educational Directorate in Palestine. The study approached the literature as a multi-dimensional phenomenon, which addressed both theoretical and applied research. The significance of this study is that it is the first, to the author knowledge, which deals with this theme. The study will be an important reference point for those concerned with the Palestinian question in general and the area of educational learning disabilities in particular.

To achieve this end, the study adopted the experimental design approach, using the sampling survey method. The test and questionnaire are appropriate for the exploratory nature of the research. A 50-item questionnaire dealt with the educational motivation and a 60-item test that measured the achievement among the sampled population were used after verifying its validity and reliability through Pearson correlation, Cronbach Alpha, and Split-Half Coefficients.

The target population consisted of (682) students in eight grades at Hebron Educational Directorate in the West Bank during 2019/2020 academic year. The overall sample was constituted of (46) students (25 males and 22 females) from Arroub Camp Basic Boys & Girls Schools, selected in a purposive random method, that was divided into two groups, the experimental and controlled group with (23) students each. The researcher approached the participants at Arroub Camp Basic Boys & Girls Schools in the West Bank, and they were asked to complete the questionnaire and the test as well after applying the study experimental approach. The sampled population were diagnosed using four scales in addition to their school scores to view their academic achievement. Data were analyzed using the statistical package for social sciences (SPSS).

The findings revealed that participants experienced a high level of learning disabilities, that are, auditory perception disabilities, attention disabilities, and visual perception disabilities, and the study revealed the determinant effect of the educational program on decreasing the learning disabilities among the sampled students. However, no statistically significant differences were found due to the gender.

Moreover, the findings of the study revealed that participants experienced a moderate level of motivation, and the study revealed the determinant effect of the educational program on increasing the motivation level among the sampled students. However, no statistically significant differences were found due to the gender.

These findings confirm the value of the educational program on decreasing the learning disabilities among the sampled students, and open the way for further studies in the area of applying more educational programs to raise the achievement and motivation among the students with learning disabilities in general and in memory disabilities in particular.
